Following a 20 year career in the construction industry, Dave was licensed in 1990. Beginning with a Coldwell Banker franchise at a time when the market was very difficult and prices were falling, it became clear to Dave that working in Real Estate was not what he had expected. Moving first to a Realty World office and then onto a Canada Trust outlet Dave was constantly trying to find the most profitable niche for his market. After earning his brokers licence in 1994 Dave formed SIERRA Realty Corp., in Cobourg. Focusing on the relocation market, Dave developed a business plan that tapped into the great numbers of people moving out of Toronto - by connecting with their Realtors early in the process. When Buyer Agency first came to Ontario Dave joined a group of Realtors who brought in American coaches and instructors to introduce the concept. This is when he met Glenn Cunningham and the two forged a fast friendship. The The Buyers Agency association became another network that bridged all company lines and connected like minded realtors. Dave's business evolved to being over 90% by referral. From every major franchise in Ontario. The internet just widens the "net". First developing traditional web sites, then moving into direct response formats and finally evolving into the MOVING TO concept. Dave and Glen, by testing and measuring in different markets have developed a business plan that is proven to work. |
Glenn's previous career, manufacturing, involved residential and commercial windows and office environment furnishings. Licensed in 1988 he worked in Crampon Ontario where he learned the value of referrals from other agents. In 1993 when Buyer Agency was a nasty word to the lone experienced agent, Glenn met Dave Chomitz through a leadership team in educating agents on Buyer Agency. Since then Dave and Glenn have kept their relationship and synergy as a an essential part of their real estate careers. Since that time Glenn has expanded his experience with management and ownership within Real Estate. And has recently opened a branch office for Realty Executives Plus Ltd., to service Wasaga Beach and surrounding areas. Glenn's business is still based on referrals from other agents and past clients. Along with his slogan Olde Values .... New Vision.
